Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said his meeting with Trump envoy Witkoff and
Jared Kushner was highly substantive, with discussions focused on winter aid,
security guarantees, and economic guarantees to underpin postwar reconstruction;
Zelenskiy said Ukraine will also need to maintain a strong military and that
territorial issues should be resolved at head-of-state level. Parties agreed to
hold a new Ukraine–US–EU trilateral round of talks soon, venue not yet decided.
Witkoff told media US talks with Russia had made important progress, that those
views were passed to Ukraine, and that cooperation is crucial.
