China A-share pork sector traded higher amid choppy moves; Luoniushan recorded a second consecutive limit-up. Tianbang Food, Dayu Bio, Zhenghong Technology, Xinwufeng and Hefeng also advanced.

Emerging-market equities rose on Monday as optimism about next‑generation AI models lifted index‑heavy technology names, offsetting pressure from higher oil. The MSCI Emerging Markets Index climbed as much as 1.4% to its highest level since June 26; South Korea’s KOSPI jumped 4%. An EM currency index gained 0.1%, its 12th advance in 13 sessions. Attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz pushed oil higher, and stronger US nonfarm payrolls increased bets on earlier Fed tightening, leaving most other sector subindexes lower.

Israeli Prime Minister NETANYAHU said Israel will cut gasoline prices by 0.5 shekel per liter tonight, noting domestic petrol prices are falling while global prices rise. Iran earlier raised retail fuel prices for high-consumption users.
