Samsung Electronics is accelerating development of a humanoid robot prototype and aims to publicly unveil the in-house unit at CES 2027 in Las Vegas in January, sources say.

Shenzhen Yingnuo Angel Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership) — Yingnuo Angel Phase III Fund — has completed registration in Qianhai with an initial size of 530 mln yuan, company filings show. Qianhai Financial Holdings said the vehicle is the first sub‑fund of the National Venture Guidance Fund’s Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) fund to complete industrial registration and the first GBA sub‑fund to be based in Qianhai. Managed by Yingnuo Houde, the fund will target next‑generation information technology, advanced manufacturing and new energy/new materials, aligning with Qianhai’s 6+4+2 industry strategy. Yingnuo Houde will co‑build a Shenzhen‑Hong Kong hard‑tech accelerator with the Qianhai administration and Bao’an district government. The parent GBA fund is one of three regional vehicles under the National Venture Guidance Fund and targets over 50 bln yuan in scale.
