Honor will unveil MagicOS 11 on Sept. 15. The company says MagicOS 11 will be the industry’s first phone OS to commercialize a system-level Agent Harness; the Magic9 series will ship first with the new OS. Honor says development and testing are complete and it is pursuing required certifications; the Agent Harness will be enabled on RobotPhone and Magic9 devices once approvals are obtained.

An informal meeting of China–Central Asia public security and interior ministers took place in Beijing on the 7th, chaired by State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong. China said it will deepen practical cooperation with Central Asian states on countering terrorism, separatism and extremism; tackling transnational crime; managing migration; protecting Chinese overseas interests; and building law enforcement capacity. Beijing also pledged enhanced security for major Belt and Road Initiative projects and urged the mechanism to serve as a model for cross-sector cooperation to jointly address diverse threats and support regional security stability.
