China's foreign ministry said at a routine press briefing on Sep 8 that Qatari Prime Minister and foreign minister Mohammed visited China on Sep 7-8 at Beijing's invitation. China and Qatar are strategic partners; Beijing said it attaches high importance to developing bilateral ties and expects the visit to advance the relationship.
