Ukraine President Zelenskiy said his country is prepared to make concessions on food and energy issues.

Choi Tae‑won, SK Group chairman and head of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reiterated on Sept. 8 support for a Korea‑Japan economic community he estimates at about $6 trillion — roughly the world’s fourth‑largest economy — arguing deeper integration would help the two countries compete with major global economies and ease fiscal pressures from low birthrates and ageing. He said joint planning of energy procurement, storage and use, and physical links for power and gas, could lower related costs by about 3–5%. Choi added SK is in ongoing AI cooperation talks with Japanese firms including NTT and Tokyo Electron.
