On the 8th, Yemen’s Houthi movement said it launched a large-scale attack using
"dozens of ballistic missiles and drones" against Saudi military and oil
infrastructure, targeting ARAMCO facilities in Abha, Najran and Jizan, Jizan
Economic City near KHAMIS MUSHAIT, and King Khalid Air Base. The group said the
strikes were "precise and direct" and caused "substantial damage", framed the
action as retaliation for what it said were 121 Saudi airstrikes on Yemen over
the past three days, and warned it will continue operations deep inside Saudi
territory.
