Reportedly, driven by large 2nm orders from U.S. tech customers including Tesla
and Broadcom, Samsung Electronics' wafer fab in Taylor, Texas will begin trial
production at the end of this month or early next month. The facility is
operating at full capacity and all planned output has been pre-booked. 2nm yield
has improved from about 60% earlier this year to roughly 80% recently,
supporting mass production slated for next year.
