Organizers said the 2027 Shanghai Auto Show will run April 23–May 2, 2027, with about 400,000 sqm of exhibition space. The event will explore multiple frontier tracks and introduce a dedicated embodied-intelligence zone, highlighting physical AI, high-end chips and other application scenarios for smart-vehicle technologies to broaden product definitions, technical architectures and the industry landscape, and to accelerate the auto sector’s shift from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing.

The State Administration for Market Regulation issued a notice launching a nationwide program to cultivate trusted‑consumption units and clusters that raise consumption quality, improve consumer experience and innovate consumption scenarios to support sustained consumption expansion. The notice targets more than 5,000 trusted‑consumption clusters across China by 2030, broad coverage of trusted‑consumption units in key sectors, and establishment of a 'Trusted Consumption in China' brand with a marked improvement in consumer satisfaction.
