At the morning close, China's main commodity futures were mixed. SC crude oil
rose nearly 5%; methanol gained over 4%; propylene climbed more than 3%; benzene
was up nearly 3%. Fuel oil, p‑xylene, styrene (EB) and low‑sulfur fuel oil (LU)
advanced over 2%. On the downside, palladium and ferrosilicon fell more than 2%;
palm oil, soybean oil and red dates declined over 1%; urea and Shanghai gold
were down about 1%.
