Thailand's finance minister said the government will exempt import taxes on certain solar panel components.

Beijing municipal government issued its '15th Five-Year' high-end industry plan, prioritizing support for national space-power construction and boosting Beijing's aerospace technology commercialization. The plan calls for accelerating the commercial space industry with targeted R&D on reusable rockets and large‑thrust engines, and for scaling mass production and supply-chain capacity for satellites and key components. It directs Beijing firms to participate in national large-constellation projects and develop differentiated commercial constellations, while expanding space-application services, improving satellite data utilization, and cultivating a satellite IoT ecosystem with BeiDou integration and BeiDou-enabled spatio‑temporal applications. The plan also backs new-energy aircraft R&D, innovation in airspace equipment and aerospace vehicles, and strengthening aviation parts manufacturing, materials support and aircraft maintenance capabilities.
