Beijing municipal government issued its high-end precision-industry development
plan for the 15th Five-Year period, targeting major breakthroughs in new
productive forces by 2030 and significant gains by 2035. The plan elevates
high-end industries to better serve national strategic priorities, aims to lift
industrial R&D, indigenous-control capability and regional spillovers, positions
Beijing as a globally influential emerging-industry and future-industry hub, and
seeks to make the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region a stronger driver of national
high-quality growth.
