The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet said on the 9th that the IDF
carried out airstrikes on the 8th in Gaza, destroying three weapons storage
facilities used by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and one
rocket-launch site used to fire into Israel. The facilities held dozens of
weapons and military items, including rockets and Kalashnikov rifles. The IDF
said it had recently observed militants visiting the depots to use the weapons
to bolster control and conduct operations in Gaza.
