Germany is Ukraine's largest backer; since Feb. 24, 2022 German support to Kyiv has exceeded €100 bln, including €43.3 bln in humanitarian aid and €57.6 bln in military assistance. Russia has repeatedly warned that supplying weapons to Kyiv will prolong the conflict.
