On Sept 10, 2026 in Beijing, Politburo Standing Committee member and Vice
Premier Ding Xuexiang attended the Global Services Trade Summit and met
participating foreign dignitaries. He outlined three priorities to boost
services trade: raise service-sector quality, efficiency and innovation to lift
services trade value and better support economic activity; expand open market
access by reducing barriers to cross-border factor flows and advancing services
trade liberalization and facilitation; and deploy digital and intelligent
technologies, including AI, and enhance interoperable digital infrastructure to
drive services trade growth.
