Huaibei Mining told investors at its 2026 half-year results briefing that its Xinhu coal mine restarted on April 16 and production has been stable and orderly since. The company said it is focused on ensuring safe, efficient mine operations and is aiming to exceed its annual budget target.

At a State Council Information Office briefing on Sept. 10, CSRC vice‑chair Li Chao said the securities regulator will strengthen supervision and investor protection, prioritizing five major supervisory areas and targeting fraudulent IPOs, accounting fraud, market manipulation and insider trading. He said the agency will pursue precise, punitive enforcement to boost deterrence and accelerate improvements to the capital‑market legal framework and investor‑protection mechanisms to ensure market fairness for investors.
