At a Sept. 10 State Council Information Office briefing, CSRC vice chairman Li Chao said the regulator will further enhance the capital market's intrinsic stability, continue building market-stability mechanisms and expand market-stabilizing capacity. He said the CSRC will broaden sources, channels and entry routes for medium- and long-term funds and improve the "long money, long investment" market mechanism and ecosystem. The regulator will also step up risk monitoring, early warning and integrated assessment and response to fully safeguard orderly capital market operation.
