On Sept. 10 at a State Council Information Office briefing, CSRC vice chairman
Li Chao said the regulator will continue to strictly control issuance and
listing approvals, balancing inclusiveness with strict supervision to enhance
the A-share market’s appeal to quality companies. He said the CSRC will increase
delisting oversight, use compulsory delisting as a deterrent, and strengthen
post-delisting supervision and investor protection to prevent firms from evading
obligations after delisting.
