JP Morgan upgraded Meta to Overweight from Neutral on Thursday, citing improving
sentiment around the company’s AI strategy after the launch of Muse, an AI agent
designed to execute tasks for users. Analyst Doug Anmuth said Muse rose to No.3
in the US App Store on its second day and early usage was roughly 10x the
training cohort. He said the outcome demonstrates Meta’s ability to deliver
consumer-driven AI products to its roughly 4 billion-user base and that scaled
distribution is a material competitive advantage.
