At a State Council Information Office briefing on Sept. 10, National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) deputy director Cong Lin said the regulator will steer financial institutions to back upgraded consumption demand, expand goods consumption and further unlock services and new‑consumption potential. The NFRA will combine investment in physical and human capital and step up finance for priority areas and 109 major projects under the 15th Five‑Year Plan, prioritizing measures to stabilise foreign trade, including support for intermediate‑goods exports, overseas warehouse construction and cross‑border e‑commerce development.
