South Korea's President Lee will host a Central Asia summit on Sept. 16.

CSRC vice chairman Li Chao said at a State Council Information Office briefing the regulator has run three consecutive annual special campaigns against listed-company accounting fraud, probing 247 cases and imposing fines and confiscations totaling nearly 10 billion yuan. The CSRC has strengthened inter-ministerial and central-local coordination, set up a regular long-term anti-fraud enforcement mechanism, referred 134 suspected criminal cases to public security authorities and supported 84 civil lawsuits.

WTI crude fell more than 2% intraday to $98.50/bbl. Brent crude declined 1.78% to $104.28/bbl.
