The Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural
Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued
the Digital Countryside High‑Quality Development Action Plan (2026–2030). The
plan targets significant progress by 2030: optimized rural information
infrastructure; materially higher levels of rural industry digitalization, rural
construction informatization and smart rural governance; more robust sustainable
development mechanisms for the digital countryside; and increased sharing of
information‑development benefits for farmers.
