A special meeting to advance construction of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone was held in Hengqin on the 10th. Attendees said they will implement Xi Jinping’s directives on Hengqin, accelerate rollout of the package of policy measures to deepen the zone, and support Macau in proactively aligning with the national 15th Five-Year Plan and implementing the SAR’s new five-year plan to help promote appropriate economic diversification. Xia Baolong, director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council and head of the Central Leading Group on Hong Kong and Macao Affairs, attended and spoke.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange said that from Sept. 7 to Sept. 11, 2026 it took self-regulatory measures on 92 abnormal trading cases—including intra-day price manipulation and false orders—investigated seven major listed-company matters and reported five suspected violations to the CSRC.
