Participants broadly agreed that surgical-robot functions should be expanded beyond high-concentration areas (urology, orthopedics, general surgery) into targeted applications such as neurosurgery and interventional specialties; that development should be closely integrated with fast‑advancing brain‑computer interface technology, intelligent robots and AI; and that adoption should draw on other robotics best practices, broaden clinical use cases and proceed toward partial or full autonomy with cautious, evidence‑based steps.
