Saudi energy ministry said on the 11th the Riyadh and Medina sections of its
east-west oil pipeline were hit multiple times on the morning of the 10th and
the pipeline has been closed as a precaution. Some personnel were injured.
Emergency and specialist teams immediately responded and, following safety
procedures and emergency plans, have taken measures to secure the pipeline and
assess its condition. The ministry gave no details on the attack method,
perpetrators' identities or timing for resumption of operations.
