Sept 9-12 — CCPIT vice-chair Li Xingqian led a delegation to Russia to attend the 7th China‑Russia SME Industrial Forum under the China-Russia Friendship, Peace and Development Committee. About 800 Chinese and Russian participants attended; CCPIT organized a Chinese entrepreneurs’ delegation of more than 300. Delegates discussed cooperation in the digital economy, local-government cooperation, creative industries, tourism, e‑commerce and agriculture. While in Russia Li visited Yekaterinburg, met acting Consul General Wang Tong and officials from the Yekaterinburg investment bureau and local firms to discuss strengthening China‑Russia trade, investment, industrial cooperation and local economic ties.
