On Sept 12 the Shanghai Tourism Festival parade began; from Sept 13 some city attractions introduced half-price tickets. Meituan data shows Shanghai cultural and tourism bookings rose 15% YoY over the past week. Top non-local source cities were Beijing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. The most-booked attractions were Shanghai Disney Resort, Shanghai Wild Animal Park, Shanghai Happy Valley, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park and Shanghai LEGOLAND Resort.

BRICS leaders reaffirmed mutual respect, sovereign equality and consensus-based cooperation. Building on 20 years of engagement and the group's recent expansion, they pledged to deepen three pillars of cooperation: political-security, trade and finance, and people-to-people exchanges. They called for promoting peace, creating a more representative and equitable international order, reinvigorating and reforming multilateral institutions, and advancing sustainable, inclusive growth while deepening BRICS strategic partnership.
