Provincial customs said Iran’s southern Bushehr province exported more than $2.3
billion of goods from March–August this year despite a US maritime blockade,
IRNA reported. Customs head Ali Soleimani said the province shipped 5.1 million
tonnes in the five-month period, with petrochemicals and various liquefied gases
among the main exports. He said goods were exported to 32 countries, including
the UAE and Pakistan.
