The New York Times, citing two people familiar with the matter, reported the
Trump administration plans to end federal limits on greenhouse gas emissions
from coal- and gas-fired power plants. EPA administrator Lee Zeldin is expected
to announce the rollback Monday at the G20 energy ministers' meeting in Houston.
The administration is pursuing policies to ease fossil-fuel production and use,
lower costs and promote fossil-fuel power to meet growing AI data-center
electricity demand.
