China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and seven other ministries issued a notice publishing the Action Plan to Promote Smart Home Consumption.

Sept 14 — At a regular briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun was asked to confirm media reports that Kremlin spokesman Peskov said China and India leaders discussed Ukraine at the BRICS summit and how China would seek a solution. Guo reiterated that China’s position on the Ukraine crisis is consistent and clear: dialogue and negotiation are the only viable way to resolve the crisis, and China supports any efforts conducive to peace.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs reported that for Aug 31–Sep 6, 2026 the average hog purchase price at designated slaughterhouses was 12.14 yuan/kg, down 0.6% WoW and 18.4% YoY. The average factory-gate price for pork carcasses was 15.91 yuan/kg, down 0.5% WoW and 17.0% YoY.
