MOFCOM’s Consumption Promotion Department released an Action Plan with seven
measures to address growth points and bottlenecks in smart-home consumption,
prioritizing expansion of high-quality smart-home supply, improvement of the
smart-home standards system, and optimization of community convenience services.
The plan highlights four priorities: coordinate supply and demand; build a
diversified, integrated ecosystem; deliver targeted services for different
consumer groups; and streamline the convenience-service chain. MOFCOM said it
will coordinate with other departments to implement the measures and accelerate
policy rollout to drive household adoption of smart-home products.
