An ExxonMobil top executive said improving economic conditions will allow significant latent demand to absorb incremental LNG supply.

Sept 14 — At a State Council Information Office briefing on SME receivables, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) said it will deepen coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the PBOC to establish information‑sharing on payment abuses. SAMR said it will press large firms that draw frequent SME complaints to rectify via interviews, mediation and coordinated supervision. It warned that, once verified, practices such as obscuring payment‑cutoff dates or using commercial bills and electronic vouchers to effectively extend payment terms will be punished severely under the anti‑unfair‑competition law; complaint channels will remain open.
