urged slowing AI development, pressuring AI chip names: NVIDIA (NVDA.O) -3.3%,
Intel (INTC.O) -7.0%, AMD (AMD.O) -5.2%. Memory and storage stocks also slid:
Micron Technology (MU.O) -6.7%, SK Hynix (SKHY.O) -7.1%, SanDisk (SNDK.O) -5.8%.
Oracle (ORCL.N) dropped 5.2% after reports it has launched a new round of
layoffs.
