The 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum opened this morning (Sept 15) at the Beijing
International Convention Center. Running Sept 15–17, the forum hosts delegations
from nearly 100 countries, regions and international organizations alongside
domestic and international experts. Four plenary sessions and eight parallel
sessions will focus on urgent international security challenges, including
traditional and non-traditional security, global governance, regional hotspots,
military technology and international law. The forum's formal opening ceremony
is scheduled for Sept 16.
