On the 14th (local time) the UN said Israel's ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip continue to cause civilian casualties. Restricted access to engine lubricants and parts, together with fuel shortages, is placing severe strain on energy supplies for Gaza's water, desalination and medical services. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said military operations continued over the weekend, particularly west of the temporary ceasefire's so-called 'yellow line'.
