China A-shares were mixed at midday: Shanghai Composite -0.1%, Shenzhen
Composite +0.04%, ChiNext -0.18%. Wind-power equipment stocks led gains, with
Tianshun Wind Energy and Dajin Heavy Industry hitting limit-up; PCB names were
active, Huazheng New Materials limit-up. MLCC, semiconductors, coal and minor
metals also outperformed; grain, tourism, hotels & catering and property
underperformed. Market breadth was negative with nearly 4,000 stocks down and
half-day turnover above 1 trillion yuan.
