Saudi cabinet strongly condemned the Houthi armed group’s continued deliberate attacks on civilian facilities and civilians inside Saudi Arabia. It said safeguarding national, territorial and resource security is an immutable, non‑negotiable principle. Citing the UN Charter and international law, the cabinet said Saudi Arabia has a lawful right to self‑defense and to protect its sovereignty, citizens, residents and vital interests.

Qinghai‑Tibet Railway Group said that, in the 20 years since the line fully opened, the railway has carried more than 104 million passengers and moved over 824 million tonnes of freight. Driven by student and tourism flows, this summer’s travel season handled 4.78 million passengers, up 2.1% YoY and a record for the period; student passengers exceeded 140,000.
