Alipay, Meituan Finance, Douyin and JD Baitiao denied reports that monthly-installment payment options will be delisted from standard checkout or moved to a separate payment zone after Sept. 30. Alipay said Huabei services are operating normally and will comply with national regulations, with any changes reflected on the Alipay page; Meituan Finance and Douyin said their monthly-pay products are currently available and display will follow app pages; JD Baitiao said its service is operating normally with no plan to withdraw the payment option.

Apple has launched Siri AI, powered by the new Apple Intelligence platform. iOS 27 begins rolling out the feature today; Siri AI enters beta for English users and will expand next month to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Siri AI will not initially be available in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS. The assistant offers enhanced conversational ability, personal-context understanding, screen awareness, broader knowledge and expanded system-level app control, and can extract information from users’ messages, mail, photos and other on-device data.
