PBOC on Sep 16, 2026 conducted a 110 billion yuan 7-day reverse repo via a fixed-rate, quantity tender, fully meeting primary dealers’ demand, and executed 600 billion yuan of overnight reverse repos.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban‑Rural Development said it stepped up enforcement in 2025 against illegal subcontracting and transfer of construction work, carrying out 260,270 project inspections nationwide. Local housing and construction authorities have imposed penalties including fines, confiscation of illegal gains, suspension for rectification, revocation of qualifications, restrictions on bidding eligibility and orders to cease practice. The ministry instructed local authorities to intensify efforts to curb certificate‑renting and sham affiliation, strengthen construction‑market supervision and improve the market environment.
