Asian currencies were broadly softer in Asian morning trade ahead of the Federal
Reserve's policy decision later today. Fed funds futures imply roughly a 92%
probability of a 25bp hike — which would be the first increase since 2023 — and
markets will focus on Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's press conference and updated
economic projections. LSEG data showed USD/JPY up 0.2% at 155.43, USD/KRW up
0.6% at 1370.92, and AUD/USD down 0.1% at 0.7125.
