Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee on the 16th unveiled the Hong Kong SAR’s
first five-year economic and social development plan (2026–2030), setting six
major targets, including: new economic breakthroughs; sustained gains in
international competitiveness and influence; accelerated, more efficient
development of the Northern Metropolis; marked improvements in livelihoods and
welfare; and significant progress integrating with and serving national
development priorities.
