China’s Ministry of Finance plans to issue the 59th 2026 book-entry discount bond, a 28-day discount bill with a competitive tender face amount of 20 bln yuan. The issue will be priced via competitive auction and sold at a discount to face value, with additional bids allowed from Class A members. The bill begins accruing interest on Sep 17, 2026 and will be repaid at par on Oct 15, 2026 (observed next business day if a holiday). Auction window: Sep 16, 2026, 10:35–11:35 Beijing time.
