Iranian army spokesman Amir Mohammad Akraminia said the United States is in decline and that its disregard for international law and support for Israel have weakened its global standing. He said recent wars show the US prioritizes US and Israeli interests over regional security, that reliance on external powers cannot deliver lasting peace, and that US military power can no longer sustain hegemony on a cost‑benefit basis — a development he said creates an opportunity for regional states, particularly Iran and Pakistan, to deepen cooperation to safeguard regional security.
