The National Iranian Oil Company’s engineering and development manager told TASNIM NEWS that execution has begun on five oil and gas field development contracts totaling $13.6 bln. Implementation would boost crude capacity by more than 600,000 bpd and gas capacity by about 30 mln cu m/day. Separately, roughly $9.3 bln of upstream development contracts signed to date are currently undergoing effectiveness confirmation and obtaining required permits.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said Moscow will not conclude any agreements with Europe going forward on matters related to ensuring Russia’s security.
