Sept 16 — Hainan province sold CNY5 bln of offshore yuan local-government bonds in Hong Kong, its fifth consecutive annual offshore RMB issuance and the first since the Hainan Free Trade Port began island-wide customs operations. The offering, aimed at Asian and European investors, attracted 59 institutional buyers from eight jurisdictions; peak orders reached CNY43.7 bln, roughly 8.7 times the issue. Tranches: CNY2.5 bln 3-year at 1.41%, CNY1.5 bln 5-year at 1.51%, CNY1.0 bln 10-year at 1.81%.
