Sources said US shale oil producer HighPeak Energy is exploring a sale after receiving acquisition interest.

On Sept. 17 morning Evergrande Auto (00708.HK) filed multiple financial statements on HKEX. For the six months ended June 30, 2026 the group reported total assets of about RMB182m and total liabilities of about RMB32.722bn, including borrowings of RMB16.283bn and trade and other payables of RMB16.439bn. Revenue was about RMB9m, gross profit about RMB0.5m; net profit was about RMB186m, up approximately RMB771m YoY.

Southbound Stock Connect net bought 3.363 bln yuan today. Shanghai–Hong Kong Stock Connect: Zhipu net bought HK$687m, Tencent Holdings HK$334m; Alibaba Group was the largest net seller at HK$322m. Shenzhen–Hong Kong Stock Connect: Zhipu net bought HK$1.14 bln, Kingboard Laminates HK$194m; SMIC was the largest net seller at HK$293m.
