Stellantis (Shanghai) Automotive Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with SAMR under China’s defective vehicle recall regulations (recall no. S2026M0115V). The recall covers 979 imported Jeep Wrangler hybrid vehicles produced 2023-09-05 to 2024-03-26 and 1,178 imported all‑new Grand Cherokee 4xe hybrid vehicles produced 2023-07-19 to 2023-10-09. Some engines may have been contaminated by sand during casting; ingress of sand particles into internal engine components can cause engine failure and, in extreme cases, loss of drive or an engine‑bay fire, creating a safety hazard.

India's largest state-owned infrastructure finance institution has approved loans of more than 30 billion rupees (about $313m) apiece to at least four data centers to support AI infrastructure. Managing director Rajkiran Rai G. said the facilities carry a five-year moratorium followed by repayment over the next 10 years. Lender demand underscores rising corporate capex on large data-center projects; global investors from EQT AB and Blackstone to Alphabet, and domestic groups including Adani Group, have pledged billions to build AI compute capacity in India.
