China urged Japan to face and deeply reflect on its history of aggression and to take concrete steps to win the trust of Asian neighbours and the international community. It said regional countries, including China, must remain highly vigilant and that it will never allow Japanese militarism to revive, calling for joint defence of World War II’s outcomes and the peace baseline.
