Iran's interior ministry spokesman said presidential and parliamentary elections may be held simultaneously in the second month of Iranian year 1407 (April–May 2028).

NATO's top military commander, U.S. Air Force General Alex Grinkevich, participated Friday in an online Pentagon briefing on a U.S. force posture review for Europe, his spokesperson said. He attended in his capacity as commander of U.S. European Command and provided advice to Pentagon policy chief Elbridge Colby on the ongoing review. The spokesperson said the review is taking place as European states assume more defense responsibility and as NATO strengthens the alliance and transitions toward NATO 3.0.
