CNN on the 20th, citing an anonymous U.S. official, reported the U.S. military will not carry out offensive strikes against Houthi forces in Yemen. U.S. support to Saudi Arabia has been limited to intelligence and targeting data for Saudi strikes; Washington says it has recently increased sharing and has provided Riyadh with what it needs to counter the Houthis.
